Texas vs. California
Its been less than a week that we’ve been here and one of the most common questions thus far has been “what do you like more” or “what are the differences between the two” or some other similar form of that basic question. So I decided to address that here in my first post on our first blog.
Texas California

Thanks about all that I can think of for now. I’m sure others will come up the longer we live here, but for now this should suffice. This is getting long, I know, but I wanted to talk this time to thank several people who helped us move.
Heidi Moller – thanks for coming out, keeping Megan company for a few days, and packing our stuff into boxes.
Jordan Wagner – Thanks for helping load the ryder truck even though you had to get up and go to work the next day
Scott Zeller and Joh Whittaker – Thanks for helping us unpack our boxes and put our stuff in random places throughout our new apartment.
The Wesselhoff Family – Thank you so much for letting us crash your house for a few days. we will definately miss all of you.
Josh Ochoa – Bro, thanks for coming out, packing our crap into a truck, driving it half way across the country and then helping us unload the truck. I know what persecution you received for helping us and don’t think your sarafice didn’t go unnoticed
Arizona Hwy Patrol – Thank you, thank you, thank you for not giving me a ticket and letting me off with a warning. it was truly appreciated.
Sam Ochoa (and Gregory): thanks for driving a mattress up from Houston, and for helping us unload our truck.
Andrea Ochoa (my mom): for loaning your husband (my dad) and son (Josh) to me to help us move. Thanks for catsitting while we were gone, and for organizing our apt while we were away.
Last, and most importantly
Manuel Ochoa (my dad): Words cannot express how grateful we are to you. You helped us in so many ways, its hard to know where to begin. You and Josh packed most of that ryder truck by yourselves. If not for you, I would probably still be packing that thing. Driving the ryder 26 hours nonstop while listening to josh on the phone. Financing a majority of our move is probably the most crucial thing. There are hundreds of things you could have done with that money, and instead you made megan and my move to Texas possible. I’m not sure what I would have done without you. Thank you so much.
