Its a… (pt 2)
Its a Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope it is for you as well, for we all have much to be thankful for. As cheesy as it is sometimes to hear, I think its important to keep a good perspective on life, if you’re on your own computer and looking at this website, you are in the richest 10% of the world. Life is more than how big your bank account is though. I thank God for a happy, healthy marriage, a beautiful baby on the way, a job that pays the bills, a church to go to, parents, friends, and so much more.
Its a fun time in life. For me, watching my wife grow as the child inside her grows. A constant reminder of the future. I’m going to be a freaking dad. I’m very excited, but also very scared, but a good scared, if that makes sense. Megan and I will soon be responsible for the life of another. Its a little different than marriange, when we got married I took on responsibility to love, protect, and provide for Megan. She still has the ability to do things, she can go to work if she needs, she can feed herself, but a baby can do none of these things. And on that note….
Its a…Girl! Tuesday Megan went to the doctor and had a third(and in my opinion, conclusive) sonogram. They checked and there were no “boy parts” as Megan put it. So there you have it. We are having a little baby girl.
Its a great day for food and football. So go enjoy family, friends, or whoever you are hanging out with this fine turkey day, and watch some football, especially if the cowboys get beat by the bucks.
